Professional Background
Ms. Thomas co-founded Marshall Thomas Burnett, then known as Marshall & Thomas, in 2005. Since then she has represented hundred of homeowners and business owners in sinkhole
claims.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Thomas began her career as a criminal defense attorney with the Office of the Public Defender in Leon County, Florida. After trying several cases and
gaining a wealth of experience, she relocated to Tampa, Florida and joined a well established firm practing both plaintiffs' personal injury and civil defense. By representing both plaintiffs as
well as insurance companies, Ms. Thomas gained a wealth of perspective, which she brought to her practice at Marshall Thomas Burnett, where she represents solely indiduals and
businesses.
